SM-65 Atlas Missileers

Welcome to the home web site for SM-65 Atlas Missileers.  The SM-65 Atlas ICBM weapon system was America's first operational ICBM and was based at twelve locations around the United States from 1960 thru 1965.  Testing was done at Vandenberg AFB.

The purpose of this web site is to create a focal point from which Atlas missileers can get together and have reunions for those who wish to do so.  The second Atlas Missileers reunion is tentatively scheduled to be held in April of 2020 at the Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum in Ashland, Nebraska. This reunion is open to all who served in conjunction with the SM-65 Atlas missile system. This includes all Atlas D, Atlas E and Atlas F squadrons as well as personnel from Vandenberg AFB. The reunion is also open to all other Atlas related  personnel such as maintenance squadrons, security personnel, support squadrons, construction personnel, etc.

If you have an interest in attending a reunion of this kind, please contact us here or go to the reunion info page here.
